about confronting the mind and spirit
We spend one third of our lives asleep, no matter our race, creed, or class. In a time of such conflict and discord, this behavior universally binds us all. During our dreams, our subconscious emerges to confront both fears and fantasies, sometimes congruently. In my own dreams, I have worked through issues that on a conscious level I could not fully face - the sudden passing of a friend, the disintegration of a relationship. There's a grace in the abstract nature of dreams, a fluidity of moments, and whether our minds' productions are filled with resolution, chaos, horror, altruism, or love, there is truth to the unfolding story.
